Our next lot of graduates will be better prepared and well equipped in finding their dream job, thanks to Job Club!
Natalie our campus manager and careers advisor created Job Club to better prepare our graduates with the skills necessary in finding and securing that dream job. Job club commenced last Friday and it was a hit with our students.
From learning how to create an eye-catching CV to how to answer interview questions effectively Natalie goes through all the need to know about how to get that job you want.
Week one started with “the whole package” with an emphasis on knowing where you want to go and how to get there. Natalie claims “ you would not captain a ship without knowing where your destination is, you would never leave the harbour!” This is the similar approach to your career. Start with the end in mind.
Next week members of the job club will learn how to tailor make their CV to the job role you are applying for. Stay tuned!
Looking all glamorous and fabulous our Crown Certificate in International Hospitality- Hotel Services and Reception Operations students loved getting hands on experience on our own Crown flight deck last week!
Crown students had to dress as flight attendants and go through scenarios they would face as a flight attendant. The re-enactment was the last component of a 2-week online Cabin Crew course and now our students will be awarded a Cabin Crew Ticket Diploma from Cabin Crew Direct.
The Cabin Crew Ticket Diploma is a great qualification to hold and it has given Crown students many opportunities and has opened many doors. An internationally recognised qualification, students holding this diploma have a distinct advantage when applying for cabin crew roles.
Our students had fun and learnt a lot from experiencing what it is really like to be a flight attendant and got a taste of what their future career maybe like.
