TESOL	Intensive (morning and afternoon) course – Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages
Course contents	This course introduces trainee teachers to effective English language teaching methods and practice, and prepares them for the Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT).
Start date	18 Jan, 8 Mar, 3 May, 12 Jul, 6 Sep, 1 November 2010
Entry Level	IELTS 5.0. If you are below this level, you should follow an Intensive English course until you reach the right level. Entrance test and interview required.
Course length	4 weeks
Course times	9.00 am – 4.30 pm (Monday – Friday)
Exam dates	The Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) dates are 27 Feb, 17 Apr, 12 Jun, 21 Aug, 16 Oct, 11 Dec 2010
NOTE: The course contains: 100 hrs classroom study, 40 hrs supervised independent learning and 40 hrs self-directed learning. Trainees complete a portfolio of work. Assessments include practical exercises, tests with oral or written answers, oral and written presentations and assignments.
