CI 433 New Zealand Certificate in Food and Beverage - Cafe & Bar Service (Level 3)

Graduates of this qualification will be able to:

  • Apply health and safety, food safety and security practices to ensure own safety and minimize potential hazards when serving customers.
  • Communicate effectively when serving customers and behave in a professional manner with colleagues, managers and customers.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to deal with familiar problems in a hospitality establishment.
Course length 20 Weeks (2 terms of 10 weeks, plus holiday breaks)
Course Achievement LCQ - Liquor Controller License
Food Safety Certificate (City and Guild) Recognised by the Auckland City Council 
Crown Barista Skills Certificate 
Course dates 7 Feb – 30 Jun 2017, 24 Apr – 22 Sep 2017, 17 Jul – 8 Dec 2017, 2 Oct 2017 – 13 April 2018
Course times 9.00 am – 1.00 pm or from 1.30 pm - 5.30 pm (Monday – Friday) 20 hours per week
Domestic entry requirements You should be 18 years of age or over on the date you start your course. You must attend a personal interview and meet all eligibility criteria (please contact us for details).
English entry level IELTS 5 with no band lower than 5, or a minimum TOEFL pBT 510 or TOEFL iBT 64 with a writing score of 20.
