2011 Secondary school scholarships
- Crown is offering three scholarships worth $1,000. These are offered to one student from each department - Travel and tourism, hospitality and business. Entries close 5pm, Friday 3rd December 2010. Click here for more details
- ATTTO is offering ten scholarships in 2010 across the sectors of aviation, tourism, travel and museums. ATTTO is committed to making sure that bright motivated people continue to work in these dynamic industries and this commitment is shown in the scholarships on offer to Gateway students, tertiary students and current staff in training. If you are looking for career in Travel and tourism, Hospitality and Business come and join our Taster day!
Each taster day runs from 10am-2pm and includes the following…
- A welcome pack
- Tour of our school and facilities
- Information on our courses, career centre and graduates
- Lunch
- Introduction to the travel, tourism and airline industries –
- be a flight attendant in our aircraft training facility and learn a passenger inflight services and emergency procedures demonstration.
- Introduction to the hospitality industry – make a latte in our training bar!
Terms and conditions:
- Applicants must be the age of 16 years or over
- Only 30 spaces available per course
- Applications must be received at least three days prior to the programme
- Applicants must have permission from their high school to attend
