What Is Study
and Work?

With Crown's Study and Work programme, you will learn the valuable skills needed by companies who will hire you after you graduate. You’ll gain both work experience and earn money during your course, helping you to get a head start on your new career. Designed with the help of employers, recruitment agents, school teachers and career counsellors, you’ll attend the Study and Work program alongside your travel, tourism, hospitality or business certificate or diploma.

What is included in Study and Work?

Included in the Study and Work programme is free professional training in employment skills and customer service which is offered by our Study and Work partners, Function Staff. You are guaranteed paid work experience opportunities with Function Staff during your course. Free one-on-one CV preparation, career advice and interview skills with Crown’s employment team are also included. Conditions apply.

Each year, Crown hosts an Industry Expo event, where industry employers come to Crown and speak to our graduates about their company, how to get into specific job roles, help the students with their interview skills and what the industry is looking for in a graduate. 

Plus many of them form part of our advisory board meeting in which they play pivotal roles in our programme delivery and development.
