| Course summary |
Graduates of this qualification will have the skills and knowledge to work in a variety of entry level roles within the Tourism and Travel sector. They will recognise the importance of customer service skills and communication within the travel and tourism industry. Graduates will be able to apply knowledge of major New Zealand tourism destinations and recognise the importance of the travel and tourism industries to the New Zealand economy. |

| Course times | 20 hours per week from 9.00am - 1.00pm or 1.30-5.30pm |
| Domestic entry requirements | You should be 16 years of age or above on the date you start your course.
NCEA Level 2 or Special circumstances, at the discretion of the Academic Head. You will need to demonstrate excellent results is a similar subject, or practical experience that is relevant to Travel and Tourism. |
