This short course is designed for people who are interested in working in the area of making espresso beverages. In only 3 days, you will learn both theory and practical knowledge about coffee making.

 

Topics covered include: preparation of espresso equipment and ingredients; milk preparation; espresso extraction; identifying possible problems with milk preparation, espresso and espresso equipment; presentation of espresso beverages for service.

Dress Code Black/dark coloured trousers. White (or light coloured) shirt. Covered in shoes (no trainers). Appropriate for a work environment.
Domestic entry requirements You should be 16 years of age or over. Completed NCEA Level 1 or currently studying NCEA Level 1
