This short course is a great introduction to one of the most dynamic careers in the world! You will spend two days learning about the roles and responsibilities of the job, taught by a former flight attendant. Safety demonstrations, boarding announcements, food and beverage service, first aid and security are all covered in this fun short course. Taught by an experienced flight attendant, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world insight into the aviation industry and what it takes to thrive in the role.

HEALTH & WELLBEING

  • In the Short Course, students will develop an understanding of hearing impairments and the specific support services available to individuals affected by hearing loss (Unit 23375). They will explore the causes and impacts of hearing impairments, gaining insight into the tailored services that enhance communication and accessibility for this population. Additionally, students will learn about the principles of professional and ethical behavior within health or wellbeing settings (Unit 28542), focusing on the application of ethical practices, professionalism, and the responsibilities expected in these environments. The course assessments will include a combination of presentations, where students will showcase their understanding of hearing impairments and support services, written assessments with questions and answers to evaluate their knowledge, and return demonstrations, where they will practically apply professional and ethical behavior in a simulated setting to demonstrate their competency in real-world scenarios.
